Green Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving, has become a key moment for cannabis shoppers in Massachusetts, and Worcester County shoppers have even more reason to plan ahead this year. Falling on November 25 in 2026, Green Wednesday leads directly into Black Friday, making the long holiday weekend a rare window for cannabis savings at local dispensaries like The Vault Massachusetts in Webster and Worcester.
What is Green Wednesday?
Green Wednesday takes place every year on the Wednesday right before Thanksgiving. While Black Friday remains a retail giant for electronics and gifts, Green Wednesday has quietly established itself as the unofficial cannabis shopping kickoff to the winter holiday season. Many adult-use dispensaries, including The Vault, offer one-time deals on popular products, with shoppers stocking up for private gatherings and weekend relaxation after Thanksgiving. Though not an official holiday, Green Wednesday is now one of the most anticipated cannabis sales days in Massachusetts.
