First Impressions
Great flower speaks for itself. Fresh buds, strong aroma, solid structure, and a smoke you want to come back to.
That is what we had in mind when we started building The Vault Curator Collection, our new flower line focused on premium cannabis we are proud to put our name behind.
For the first release, we are working with Blue Collar Botany on small-batch, hand-trimmed, full flower. Keeping things small batch gives more room for attention throughout cultivation, harvest, and curing, while hand trimming helps give the finished flower a cleaner, more careful finish.
Our first three strains are True Blood, Maui Wowie, and Aloha Gold. Before they hit the menu, we passed them around to members of our team and asked for real first impressions. We wanted to hear what they thought about the flower itself, how it smoked, and whether it was something they would come back to.
True Blood
True Blood got a lot of love from the team for its bud structure and easygoing feel.
Tatiana called it “a good daily smoker” and said, “I’d use it daily,” especially for an at-home relaxing day.
Paul had plenty to say about the flower itself. His sample had “some more than acceptable quarter-sized buds” that “break up great for a roll.” He described the texture as “nice and fluffy but still has some juice to her,” with an earthy flavor, a little pepper, and a faint stewed-fruit note on the exhale.
His answer when asked if he would buy it again? “Yup.”
Ana also liked the dense buds and said they were not dry and were easy to break up. She described the experience as “motivating” and said she could see it working well for “a social event and being around others.”
Maui Wowie
Kaleb’s Maui Wowie sample came through fresh, with slight grapefruit on the nose. He also pointed out that the smoke “wasn’t harsh,” which helped make a good first impression.
The experience itself was much more uplifting. He called it “definitely a social smoke” and said it had him “very chatty and in high spirits.” For him, it was more of a daytime strain than something he would save for the end of the night.
That fresh flower, citrusy aroma, and smooth smoke gave Maui Wowie a very different personality from True Blood, which is exactly what we wanted in the first lineup.
Aloha Gold
Aloha Gold brought the kind of bag appeal you notice right away.
S. described a “beautiful 1/8th nug” that smelled “sweet like citrus and honey.” He found the flower dense and sticky and called it “a fine smoke indeed, and great after a full day.”
Scott picked up on the citrus too, along with “frosty nugs,” and kept his final review simple: “I’m a fan of this product.”
Between the dense flower, sticky texture, frosty look, and sweet citrus and honey notes, Aloha Gold rounded out the first drop with something a little different from the other two strains.
What We Want Curator Collection to Be
Curator Collection is our way of putting more intention behind the flower that carries The Vault name.
We want premium cannabis that is handled with care, smokes the way it should, and still comes in at a strong value. For this first release, Blue Collar Botany gave us exactly the kind of small-batch, hand-trimmed flower we were looking for.
True Blood, Maui Wowie, and Aloha Gold all bring something different, but they have one thing in common: they are flower we feel good about putting in The Vault.
No fluff. No filler.
